I liked the sound of someone's World, so I gave it a shot. I doubt the end product was accurate to what they imagined, and it's a little rushed, but it was still interesting.
The way I pictured it, each temple is constructed in a shape similar to an instrument, and each has a beacon of energy at its peak that is linked to the largest temple. Once every temple has been cleared and all the links are severed, the final boss of the world awakens- a monolithic, lumbering juggernaut that literally -is- the final temple. Think Shadow of the Colossus, only bigger.
