Ok, first I'd like to say that I'm working on an Inuyasha flash and this is merely a sample for a friend to see how it's going to look. Oh yeah, and I drew everything by hand on paper, traced on flash. You know, the usual.I sort of threw this together in about 2 or 3 hours, I forget, but it was really simple. I was just sort of goofing off and making chibi Inuyasha dance, when I thought to myself "Ah what the hell... Mine as well make something fun". So I give you an interactive (very simple, mind you) flash where you can do... "something" to Inuyasha... You'll have to play it to find out.

Um... its been a long time since I've used Flash, so I couldn't tell you by memory, but this link should help: [link]
Just click on "PLAY THIS GAME!"
And when its loaded and in the 'categories' menu click on "ActionScript". Then click on "Simple Buttons" which is in the left column near the top.
It'll take a bit of reading, but thats how its done. BUT instead of just drawing a button, draw a character like Inuyasha and yeah... animate in the layers inside the button.
OH. And doing this requires no code, so just read until the end of "2. Creating a Button - cont."
Hope that helps... maybe I'll make some easy flash tutorials someday for stuff like this

Um, the person who wrote the script for the flash gave it to me, I think... it was a long time ago.
And I have no idea where she got it from. Perhaps from a torrent or something?

LOL Yeah, that was funny! You're lucky, I can't draw for squat. Any tips? And not just practice, I mean, I do that a lot. Anything else you'd be willing to share?

lol I'm kidding. But yeah, I think the best suggestion I can give you for now is just to read lots of tutorials, preferably ones that use a style you'd like to draw in, if you can.
I could actually help more too, if you drew something for me to critique.

okay lol thanks ^^ i did look at a few tutorials...it was awesome! maybe when i get a scanner printer i can...or i can tape the drawing the screen and try to use microsoft paint or something...cuz thats all i have >.< lol

lol I've never heard of that taping technique. Before I got a scanner, I used to take pics of my drawings with a camera and then traced it on the computer with a mouse
Although having a scanner and drawing tablet make things super quick and easy, they're not really necessary. Just keep at it and I'm sure you'll be way better than me someday
