Look, I like Weezer. They're not my favourite band, but I enjoy a large amount of their music (including the criminally underrated Pacific Daydream). And I even enjoy Pinkerton, but I would probably enjoy it more if it wasn't so praised in the Weezer community. I get how that sounds, but it's annoying AF when Weezer makes new music and people go "It's not bad, but it's no Pinkerton." I have these same feelings for Paul and Linda McCartney's Ram (but that's a story for another time). The Blue Album, and even the White Album are way better than Pinkerton, but I'm sure there are those that disagree.
