7. Jainism: The Jain faith does not believe in a creator god like Hinduism or the Abrahamic faiths. In a way similar to Buddhists, the Jains venerate perfect ascetics who have been provided with valid authority on account of their career and abilities.
8. Bahai: Baha'u'llah the Glory of God was the title taken by Mirza Husayn 'Ali Nuri (1817–1892), who is regarded as the founder and central figure of the Baha'i Faith. He was born in Tehran and was a member of a family of important government and court officials.
9. Sikhism: There are currently about 24 million Sikhs worldwide. The majority live in the Indian state of Punjab. They regard Guru Nanak (1469–1539) as the founder of their faith and Guru Gobind Singh (1666–1708), the tenth Guru, as the Guru who formalised their religion.
10. Shinto: Shinto does not have a founder nor does it have sacred scriptures like the sutras or the Bible. Propaganda and preaching are not common either, because Shinto is deeply rooted in the Japanese people and traditions. "Shinto gods" are called kami.
