Hurray! there will be a sequel for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie after being the most selling movie for a video game of all time. I am so excited!!!
The movie will be released in April 8th 2022 which is a good day for everyone to watch the movie. It's kind of a bummer that it's not on Tuesday because it fits with the release of Sonic 2 which is on a sonic Tuesday in 1992, but at the same time a good day for people to watch, also the Mario movie is coming on 2022 which is a perfect time for a video game movie rivalry because for those of you didn't know Mario and Sonic used to be rivals during the 90s in the console wars. Sonic with the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive and Mario with the SNES.

Review of the Sonic Movie(SPOILER ALERT, if you not watch the Sonic Movie DON'T READ THIS):
I watched the Sonic Movie before quarantine happened and has it's good points and low points. The lowest points of the film has to be Sonic flossing TWICE which are both at the bad timing of the movie, one from the battle against Robotnik and one in the ending. Another lowest point has to be a lack of music, Sonic is known to have one of the best video soundtracks of all time. Yes, it has some catchy music and some Green Hill and Friends by Hyper Potions theme but it feels like a missed opportunity, but hey there is a Crush 40 Easter Egg in Robotnik's playlist, so I have hope. Last lowest points is Sonic and Robotnik not having to be interactions, product advertisement and the film's predictability, generic and cheesy story, which will all change the sequel hopefully. But yeah the good parts of the movie is that the actors did a good job playing their roles. Ben Schwartz did a good job as Sonic, Jim Carey is being Jim Carey, James Marsden did a good job being this care taker of Sonic and the other supporting cast are funny at their parts. Another good part is that there are so many Easter eggs that are not only pop culture like the but most of them are Sonic. From the Echidna tribe, Sanic meme, the original prototype of Green Hill Zone sign and many more, they know what their Sonic stuff are, you can tell they put effort for this movie. I loved this movie has some low moments here and there but I love it for the most part, it's a enjoyable family movie.
