Lindsey Grey AKA Spark

A once middle of the road division one sprinter, Lindsey Grey was always in search of edging out her competition. In search of undetectable forms of performance enhancement, Lindsey volunteered for testing of a new hypermetabolite treatment harnessing the oxidative powers of free radicals. In an experiment gone wrong, Lindsey's body became hyperactive for short periods of time. Able to "spark" over short distances at great speed. In time, She would discover that her powers were inversely proportional to the time she spent using them. the farther she traveled, the slower. In addition, while hyperactive, her body becomes superhard making her able to deliver crushing blows if she travels short enough distances.

These new powers did come at a price. Lindsey could no longer compete at a college level as she would draw too much attention as a rising star. Disheartened, she dropped out of college and pursued a job as a pharmaceutical rep. Able to use her good looks and somewhat loose morals to her advantage, she climbed to the top and is now working in Superior City.

With a need for speed and subsequent anonymity, Lindsey began stretching her legs along the back alleys and deserted streets of downtown S.C. late at night helping those in need under the guise of Spark.

Powers: Super speed over short distances. Baseline sprint speed of 60 mph. Speed shielding when at higher speeds.

Weaknesses: Normal human when not hyperactive.

Secrets: As Lindsey and as Spark she is quite flirty and outgoing. However, much of her bravado masks her desire to let go of all of the controll she has seized in her day to day life.
