Description "Brut the Robot Morphing Prop"

by JRoulin and MCv

A brut robot, crude and simple, but big and strong!

All morphs and assembly model refinements for this robot prop
were created by Jacques Roulin, jroulin at renderosity.com.
The morphs allow limb movement, extension, rotation, and hand opening
and closing.

The 34 simple block models used to assemble Brut and most textures
by mcv at Renderosity.com -aka- mcv001 at DeviantArts.com.

INSTALLATION . . .

The "Brut the Robot Morphing Prop" zip package includes
the Daz Studio version 1.0.1 scene file, data folders, and textures.

Daz Studio Install Notes:

The Daz Studio version of Brut the Robot has lots of material zones
and comes with a starter set of mostly original textures and bump maps.

The only non-original item is the excellent hull plating texture.
It is a "For Commercial or Non-Commercial Use" freebie by Django
at Renderosity, com and also available for direct download at
[link]

Install the Daz Studio version by moving all the zip's
content folders to your DAZ/Studio/content directory.
You may also move the zip file to your Daz Studio folder and
unzip it there to install.

You may place the files in the scenes/Props folder elsewhere if you must,
but you will then have to help Daz Studio find the texture files.

Included for Poser, Bryce, PovRay (via PoseRay of course), Vue d'Esprit
and other 3D tools users is a non-morphable obj of Brut the Robot prop.
The obj file is in the zips's obj_for_3D_import folder.
You may use the textures in the Content/scenes/Props Morphing/Materials/Brut
folder of the zip file if you know how to apply them with your 3D program.

Not required, but we would love to see what you do with this item.
You can reach us by IM at the sites mentioned above.

Have fun with this, we sure had fun making it.
