3: He likely saved her from a monster or bandits that kidnapped her for ransom.

You know, I felt like I have seen the scene somewhere but was unable to think of where. Nevertheless, it inspired the idea of having a picture to depict Reize dealing with girls at the narrative beginning to middle of his story. He kinda grows out of it somewhere in the middle.
