I love that there's a Meme category on DA.

There's a lot of anime show influence, since watching things like Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura were huge for me, and I know it was for a lot of you. I left out things like Pokemon, Digimon and Dragon Ball (+Z), because those series didn't really effect my style. (I didn't draw a lot of fanart of them. I was never good at animals and DB had too many muscles. Haha~)

A lot of the artists above are right here on DeviantArt too, but there's some here that I discovered Pre-DA and they were very special/dear to me when I was younger. Maybe because coming across such amazing art was so hard back then they ended up being very precious and crucial to any art development. (Back then that wasn't really an issue though. I never had that drive to "get better", only to draw just like that omg so pretty.

Please note that the fallowing are influences and inspirations, new and old. Some have made huge catapults in my development and others not to much. That doesn't make me love them any less. <3

~ktcoope For the record, it was her How to Draw Manga book that really got me into drawing in the first place. I remember the drama I went through to get the money for the book. (I didn't know "anime" and "manga" had names until I got that book... That was a huge evolution for me. My god.)
