Description
FLstudio-only > > > >This goodie will allow you to use your midi controller's buttons that usually just turn off on release to a boolean on/off controller that will stay triggered on release
Using this will allow you to link a mute button, for example, to one of your pads/buttons and actually really use it as a switch!
What you have to do is to link a pad/button to each of the plugin's pads and then link those to the controls you want to use...
Use the demo project to visualize
In this demo, the button 16 will activate the button 1 which is linked to mute - only useful to actually show that it works!
Install: extract the DLL to C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio X.xx\Plugins\Fruity\Generators\Trigger to bool Controller\
Scan for new plugins...
To use in a practical way with a controller you always use: Create a new project, link all your controller's buttons to the plugin's pads. Save the project file to C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio 9.7 beta\Data\Projects\Templates\Hardware\Tap to Bool\ then do File, template, chose the template as defaul - You're done! Each time you will start a project, your controller's pads will already be ready to use! All that will be left will be to link any switches to the plugin's controls! (button 1 to 16)
Extract the icon file .png to the same folder as the template
Making templates is very convenient - it really is worth it that you learn the trick, don't drop arms, the final result will bring your ART a new dimention
Enjoy!
(Hurry before i understand the way of setting up a PHP basket on my nightmaredream.com website )
{I designed that for my cousin's midi controller and only tested it with internal controllers yet because he hasn't came back visiting me yet... lol. Report any inconvenients!}
