This picture is from the end of October, but I'm posting it now, because I have a lot of stuff to go through. I pretty much filled my harddrive with raw unstacked photos, which might be an issue in the future. But I'm forcing my way through them. Technical issues aside, it's lovely ground beetle Bembidion tetracolum, which I found under bark of fallen tree on very moist meadow. Which is hardly surprising, as all of my previous encounters with it were at a river bank. These guys love their water.
