Description
I gave birth to Famine while living in Pittsburgh. I was working at a credit collection job, which made me feel like an asshole, but I got alot of sketching time (though technically I probably wasn't supposed to be sketching).

Anyway, I started off with the shape for another characters head, a character named demon. Demon is far closer to Simon, another of my characters, but Famine here looks barely like either. he has Demon's horns and similiar eyes, but the rest of him doesn't resemble him. Famine wasn't named until today when he was drawn, and was only drawn twice before today, both of those times were 2 years ago.

While I was at work today, I decided to draw Simon, as I hadn't drawn him in about a year or so either. After finishing up Simon, I started on drawing him again, but I decided not to, and drew this. After sketching the shape, I named him Famine.

Famine is representative of a taking, impatient, hungry side of me that I deny constantly, but he's stronger than he appears and while he's easily subdued on some fronts, he wins often in others. I think I may attempt a finished color version of Famine at some point, and hopefully drain some of him by giving him definite form.

This first words Famine uttered were "I'm getting very hungry..."
