Kelly was created by Dr. Richard Adams, a roboticist with a passion for marine biology, for use in undersea exploration, gathering data on sea life, and interacting with the sea-dwelling Anthrus species. Kelly is very polite, kind, and caring, but they tend to come off as unaware towards others' emotions at times, most likely due to their limited Category 2 Semi-self-aware A.I.. While not in use, Kelly enjoys swimming with organic Anthrus sharks, watching ocean-themed media, and taking trips to the beach. Kelly is capable of feeling emotions and having her own thoughts and feelings, however, she stays focused and acts very robotic when she is working, as she likes to do the best she can for Dr. Adams.
