Description After months and months of redone logos, I think I may have finally produced the final logo.

I am obviously aware that this is actually more like a splash image, but it was how it was requested for me to present it. Simple black and white doesn't cut it anymore.

In the top corners are small versions of the vectors I produced. I may create a tutorial on how to make perfect grunge in vector.

Hope you like it, sorry about the inactivity, though it's probably not something that's going to change any time soon.

Mission:Fayde is an online multiplayer game a friend and I have been spending months and months and.. months planning, designing and developing. Using the Unity3D engine, we're producing a game like no other. 2009 is the year of major production, and we're very much hoping to have a beta done by the end of the year.

Thanks for the fav though

I think its amazing work but it will commonly get mistaken as FAYa3 I think.

Thanks, I really don't think it would be mistaken as that though.

Tough that it is little bit too dark but may be for a game it is fine

Good luck with your project. Interesting to see how it will turn out Unity3D shore conquers browser game market while Silverlight/Java/Flash are lagging with this direction...

Yeah we were trying to go for a stealthy, mercenary look. I think it's been achieved well with this one.

Yeah, we used to be on Torque 3D engine, but when we heard that Unity3D was coming to Windows we shit our pants. Though our game is not going to be a browser game, Unity has amazing browser capabilities I would have never thought possible before.

Ouh ok

Not browser? Why? If it is desktop for mac/windows then why not to make it in browser? there Is some difference?

Or you are going for iPhone or Wii?

As for possibilities in browsers... It was possible it just that Adobe/Silverlight are slow to go for it And Java had it for ages with OpenGl modules but Jave never got popular as browser game programming platform/deployment...

And yeah I am highly anticipating Unity 3D windows port too for year or so. Seems to be best platform for games right now. Both Mac/Windows/Browser/iPhone/Wii deployment sounds like haven Tough may be I will not go for it right when it comes out... No trial as far as I heard and until I will be shore I will be able to earn that money back with it I will not buy it... This makes it kind of hard to start

Our game is going to be a typical computer game... just won't be browser based, rather a standard installer + exe.

I'd love to use the engine for development for the iPhone and Wii but those capabilities just cost too much.

I'm hoping for a trial of the Windows version soon too, although we were planning on purchasing it anyway.

Hmm... Why unity then? For cross platform reasons or what?

Ouh... Yeah for me it is browser game development So iPhone and Wii do not interest me that much... Tough if iPhone development will be possible in windows version then with time I may try it.

Yeah... Kind of buying it without trying it is not very tasty offer... I am not shore I will like it as browser game development framework that much to risk and buy it without trying...

Well we're using Unity because it's cheap(ish), it's incredibly advanced, has all the features we could ever want, and the coding style very much suits us. We're intending to put OSX on our computers to try out the trial first.

I've always wanted to make games for the Wii ever since I got one I actually started making Flash games for the Wii since I got my controller Bluetooth'ed to my computer. Never finished any.. lol

Do you want a simple high res B&W version?

EnzuDes1gn In reply to MediaDesign [2009-02-16 11:37:14 +0000 UTC]

Naw man, just show the preview bigger

I like it from what i can see but Ben, it's one tiny ass preview, plus it's ona dark bg, very hard to see details etc, make it bigger k

MediaDesign In reply to EnzuDes1gn [2009-02-16 13:11:09 +0000 UTC]

Haha, sorry but I was stupid enough to design this preview at that exact size... so I can't really resize it. I can put up a vector though, if I could be bothered lol.

As I said, this is more of a splash than a logo because of all the effects added to it.
