The discovery of the jet engine ushered in a new age of development for the rabbits, as they integrated this new technology into their aeronautical endeavours. Higher risk meant higher rewards, and as such the early jet designs tended to be very difficult to control, leading in many crashes and need for more specialized instruction. Ultimately, this paved the way for even better and stronger aircraft.

I was told not to play with food... but then I realized that jets like the Starfighter look very much like a flying carrot.
