I think it's already painfully obvious how much I love Kingdom Heart's Riku <3 So imagine my disappointment when the week I was on vacation (away from home and computer) was Riku week! I still drew things for each day though, and even though it's late, I'm still posting them TwT

Day 1, Favorite Appearance (which game do you like Riku the most in?): I do really like Riku in KH II (in KHI I kinda wanted to smack him over the head Owo''' ) but I must say Riku in Dream Drop Distance was my favorite...he had so many great lines and very evident development in his character Pretty much the whole game I kept fussing over how much my baby had grown X''D Also thinking about Riku being Sora's tiny tiny dream eater is really cute and hilarious to me lol (I really really loved the rising wing ability link Riku had, it was so cool!)

Day 2, Favorite Quote: Like I said, so many lovely quotes in this game! Still, I'll have to say this one is my favorite. Ever since Riku was a child he wanted to protect what was important to him; his friends. Sadly, he failed to do this for a very long time, and Sora ( one of the friends he wanted to protect) had to save him. Riku finally reached the point to both recognize this and be strong enough to be the one to save Sora this time. Sora was in major trouble by that point too, so this quote made me very happy, both for brOTP feelz and character development~

Day 3, Favorite Happy Scene: THIS SCENE. Riku spent pretty much all of KH II angsting about becoming Ansem's heartless, and wanting to reunite with his friends but being so scared of showing his face to them for fear of them hating him or something...he probably worried about this quite alot. Even when he's returned to his real form, he was scared to face everyone. But then Sora goes and makes this ridiculous face, and Riku laughs. Like outright laughs, something he probably hadn't done in a very long time, and his whole demeanor lightens up for the rest of the game. I think this is when he realizes how silly he was for worrying, and when Sora finally got through his thick head how it doesn't matter what face he wears. A friend is a friend, and that's all that matters

Day 4, Favorite Sad Scene: Pretty much Riku's whole role for 358/2 Days. He had to go through alot to try and put together what he blames himself for breaking, and continues to lose himself in the process Although this is also where I like to imagine much RikuNamine hurt/comfort scenes happening, and how in their working together, they become sort of friends and learn to support each other...I may kind of ship it oops And just...Xion...so much sadness...the manga makes it even worse TwT (actually the Days manga is VERY good, I highly recommend)

Day 5, Favorite Outfit or Physical feature: I really like his Dream Drop Distance outfit the most ;w; It looks cool, practical, and is BY FAR the easiest KH outfit to draw EVER *screams at Sora's KH II outfit* As for physical features...Riku's very pretty OTL I love the silver hair, it looks very nice on him~ I think he looks better with long hair, but...the short hair's easier to draw X'D My FAVORITE physical trait though is his smile; it's very kind and gentle looking, and also downright awkward sometimes XD Don't be fooled everyone; Riku may seem cool, but he's actually a big dork! (I mean this in the most affectionate way possible) And meow wows. Sooo cute and cuddly looking~ I actually have a plushy of one and it's the cutest thing <3
