Drillgarurumon (Drillrill in English | Garuru = Howl in Japanese) is the armor evolution of Gabumon with the wisdom digi-egg. It acquires characteristics of ants and bees, with an abdomen armed with a drill stinger. It creates large underground galleries where it houses weaker digimons, protecting them and teaching them lessons for when they reach the adult level. He fights to the death to defend his home. Very competitive, does not admit another digimon as powerful as him in his home.

Ele adquire características de formigas e abelhas, com um abdômen armado de um ferrão-furadeira. Cria grandes galerias no subsolo onde abriga digimons mais fracos, os protegendo e ensinando lições para quando atingirem o nível adulto. Luta até a morte para defender seu lar. Muito competitivo, não admite outro digimon tão poderoso quanto ele em seu lar.
