While escaping Eggman’s base, Sonic runs off a bit while Mega tries his best to catch up to him. Looking back, Sonic slows down to let his new friend catch up. “So tell me, who exactly are you anyway? I should at least know your name” asked Sonic. The cloaked individual looks over at Sonic and spoke to him in a soft voice. “Oh my apologies Sir Sonic, my name is Mega the Techog, I was tasked with the purpose of being your personal guardian” said Mega.

Sonic looked over at him with confusion. “Guardian? Thanks but I don’t really need protection from anyone…”said Sonic. “I’m sorry Sonic, but I can’t leave your side….you may not know this but there is a great power inside you, and as your guardian, it’s my job to be by your side….I know it sounds strange and so sudden, I would have preferred to introduce myself more properly, but given the circumstances, I had get straight to the point” addressed Mega with a soft but firm voice. Sonic was not exactly sure what to do about his new found guardian, he didn’t want to worry about his well being, but at the same time he appears to be able to know about what this so called power that resides within himself.

Sonic was left with no option but to trust Mega and take his word for it. “Ok then try to keep up miss guardian!” said Sonic as he kept running. Mega blushes upon hearing Sonic’s comment. “W-wait! I’m not a—” shouted Mega but it was too late as Sonic had already ran off ahead without him. Mega sighs and run to catch up with Sonic. “Looks like my job is gonna be a lot harder than I thought…” said Mega as he talked to himself.
