A comparison a friend of mine made about kaiju movies was that they kinda feel like watching wrestling, only with guys in monster suits. Given how fantastical the MonsterVerse is becoming, it gave me the idea of drawing Godzilla & Kong as wrestlers.

While this was fun to draw, I must admit that it's taken some time for me to get used to the new design choices for these Titans. Evolved Godzilla initially weirded me out with the proportions, but that was just because of the toys; I actually like the design after officially seeing it in its full glory. And for Kong, I was a little mixed on him having a mechanical gauntlet, but given how toyetic this franchise can be, I've accepted the changes & it'll probably be pretty awesome when the film comes out.
