Catch me when I fall
Not a manipulation. (not more than one image used) I only removed something....... guess what.

The answer: I used 2 (wooden) skewers and attached them together with tape on Danbo's back leg. I placed these sticks on his back leg so you could only see them from the leg to the ground, so was easier to remove. That's it!

If you removed something... such a lovely little box-boy, something you wouldn't want to poke full of holes or stick full of glue... I'd say you removed a hand. Can't imagine you'd take something more harsh to him than a carefully placed hand which would hold him ever so gently in place.

This seems so weird to me. If these little box people had Best-Buy logos plastered all over them would they still be popular?
You guys are basically giving Amazon free advertizing which seems really strange in an "art" context.
On top of that, frankly, I find these Danbo photos to be incredibly unoriginal. I mean, we've been seeing these photos on the front page for years now and they're exactly the same as when people first started posting them. If I had a dollar for every Danbo-interacting-with- over-sized-pencil-crayon/wandering-aimlessly-into-the-wilderness I'd have a fucking million dollars by now.

I completely agree. While the picture's themselves are good (great balance and movement) not all of them deserve to be on the front page. Especially since the idea has been done so many times.

Do you understand what lands a piece onto the front page when default sorted by "popularity within the last 24 hours"? The only "deserving" a piece needs to do to land there is to be well liked. It's not a merit award bestowed by some judge upon the most artistically deserving contender.
