I have PS CS3 and when I opened actions and dragged the ATN file to the folder/window thing, it doesn't let me add it!

That's very weird! Maybe you can try it this way? Click on load actions in your photoshop actions window (ALT+F9) and find the action you downloaded. > (C) > program files > Adobe photoshop CS2 > presets > photoshop actions.

Thanks so much for this!! :3 I do have one question though... When you use PS actions, is there a way to lower the opacity? Whenever I use them, they are too.. er, strong for the picture that I'm editing.....

Yes you can adjust the opactity, you could paste the original on the edited one and turn the opacity of the edited on into 50% (just for example)

I have a question... I don't know if it is possible... but can these actions be "converted" for GIMP?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
meganjoy In reply to SeimeiNoIro [2012-04-12 05:31:16 +0000 UTC]
Gimp doesn't have the adjustment layer 'selective color' I can't make my actions with that program

This is an excellent tutorial. I never even heard of Photoshop Actions before so this'll be of great help to make night time scenes.
