Groot is my favorite character. When you think about it, the other Guardians were crazy and antiheroic when arrested, but Groot was an innocent the whole time, unwillingly dragged into the adventure for the love and friendshipΒ of his friend Rocket. As big of a guy he is, and despite looking menacing, Groot really is a softie.
My favorite scene of him is when they arrived at Knowhere and he grew the flower out of his palm and gaveΒ it to the little girl. That truly shows homuch of a gentle giant he is.
