they're very simple! :'D just use whatever colors you like on a dark sky base and then add the addition layer to give the glowing effect ^^

In your works the character always tend to shrink into the bg, and you end up paying more attention into the back round which is always simply stunning view of nature

pfft, i dont believe that (my keyboard is messing things up and doesnt let me use some letters/marks! >.< ) you draw ppl very well, and in this piece too you have drawn anatomies nicely. .) But the bg is just so stunning that you easily forgot to look characters more closely. x)
