I feel like the cat is lost or homeless. I'm leaning toward lost because of the feel the picture gives me. Probably because he's sitting on a street, which can symbolize a decision or pathway or something... and it seems thoughtful because he seems to be staring at the star/moon/shining light, which can also represent his greatest wish or goal. Which, in this case, is to have someone and not be alone.

Breathtakingly beautiful. I stared at it for very long with the music. It sorta gives me that 'magical' feel. It plays with my thoughts. Especially when I was a kid I would be lost for ages staring at the night sky not caring about the world tomorrow. That feeling... ;v; (I sound like an airhead, haha..)

I really like this piece, the balance of light and dark, as well as the features that normally wouldn't be seen are absolutely stunning.
I too first thought this was a photo until I looked closer, and I feel like the fact that it is not a photo adds to the quality of work.
