This reminds me of a book I read ages ago and haven't been able to find since; it was about a dog that was banished from heaven and then wondered earth until he found his place in the stars again. It was such a moving book, and this picture really brings it back.
While the cat is alone, this picture doesn't seem sad. It seems hopeful and purposeful. Beautifully done!
