Honestly I believe that most pokemon are cartoonized super hero and super villain versions of animals, while digimon are like that times 10. On pokemon the main character pokemon is a small electric mouse. On digimon the main character digimon, from the first season, is a small dinosaur that can turn into a even bigger dinosaur, a cyborg dinosaur, and a dragon warrior. In popularity pokemon beats digimon but in power and awsomeness digimon beat pokemon.
