"Triceratops!"Billy Cranston, the Blue Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. Chosen by Zordon to wield the power of the triceratops, Billy battled the forces of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd for three years. Though he eventually traded in the triceratops for the wolf, Billy was the only one out of the Mighty Morphin Rangers to never retire or lose/give away his powers, making him the longest-serving Mighty Morphin Power Ranger.

When Master Vile used his Orb of Doom, Billy was instrumental in reversing the chronological damage he wrought. His first success would be to use a Power Coin-powered Regenerator device of his own design to restore himself to normal age, though the device and Coins was destroyed by Rita and Zedd before the other Rangers could use it. He and the Aquitar Rangers continued to protect Earth during the Zeo Quest until the crisis was averted.
Billy chose to retire from active service as a Power Ranger during the Machine Empire invasion, though he remained in a support role and helped to develop new Zeo-class weapons and Zeozords. However, his use of the Regenerator was later discovered to have adverse side-effects, causing him to rapidly age to an elderly man. The Aquitar Rangers recommended that Billy go to their planet to be treated with water from the youth-restoring Eternal Falls, but Billy would choose to stay afterwards as he had found a soulmate in a native Aquitarian.

Seriously though, I suppose if it wasn't for him the other rangers would have been killed by their sheer stupidity. Go sprite Billy FTW!
