Represents a talent for using herbs and other natural medicines to aid in the recovery process.

Cherry blossom earned her cutiemark when a mysterious illness swept Ponyville. She recognized the symptoms as bog water fever which was caught by ingesting untreated bog water and spreads rapidly. The sickness was thought to be extinct but after days of research she helped her mother find the antidote

Gear

Represents mechinal skill and engineering

Techna was always a gear head since her family were mechanics. She spent a long time moving from place to place. When her family set up shop in Ponyville Techna was drawn to the nonfunctioning bell tower. She snuck inside one day and found several gears had gotten stick and all it needed was a little oiling.

Portal generation

Being able to create portals at will

Rift hoof was the youngest and only Pegasus in a family of unicorns aside from his grandfather who passed when he was a foal. One day during recess a ball was coming towards his face and he threw his hoofs and wings up to stop the ball from breaking his glasses when his dormant magic genes decided to surface and he created two portals and flungthe ball back at the other foals.

Wind creation

Being able to create strong bursts of wind

Despite this being a semi-common talent among weather ponys it's still a talent to be proud of. Hurricane Gale got his talent when a practice tornado went out of control he flew with his dads to stop it and managed to help them

Tornado creation

The power to create tornados via magic

Twist spire got his cutiemark when his father forced him to perform a weather spell during a rally to prove that unicorns were the superior pony race. Spire panicked and the adrenaline turned into raw magical energy and created a huge out of control tornado

Advance spell casting

Represents having stores of magical energy and being able to cast stronger spells

Spiral Nexus earned his cutiemark when he was still learning magic. Being created in a lab though hindered his magical ability. One day though he was pressured to use his magic by others and when he did it resulted in an explosion but he earned his cutiemark
