Thank you!! Explain, man I'm bad at that haha. Well first I clean up the lineart in my own special way, bring it over to Painter. I color the main shades first, the basic shades of the skin and hair to make sure they go together. After that I do cell shading to fill in the solids, once I am satisfied I move on the bleding some of the lighter areas leaving the really dark parts solid.....damn I suck at this ahhaa. I continue doing this shade after darker shade untill I get it the way I like. Lastly I do the highlights and lighter parts of the skin and hair.
For the fabric its pretty much the same, but most of the time I take abric at home and drape it like it is in the picture, adjust the lighting and color! 
As for the bg its simply a faded flood fill, set on 0 opacity at the end.

I'm SOOO lost in it to, I really want to try out some new tools. But recently I have been getting into using the Pen "Croquil Pen 3" Changing the opacity alot.
As for alot of the lines and thin clean hair I use the Oils "Thick Wet Camel 20" size 0.1.
For blending I found that the Blender tool "just add water" is really awesome

He's too delicious (on an odd note I have a hamster named Delicious...and the combination of her and Orochimaru was slightly odd in my head. But she's missing a leg, so maybe they'll find some common ground in lacking limbs, eh?) Oh man. Yeah, she lost it the week after her mother broke her leg. It was an expensive time, to say the least. It got caught when her leg got wrapped in a string from a towel she made a nest of, then the string got wound up in the spoke of her wheel. Her little bone was sticking out and everything. It was sad, but neat to see. Now she stumps around like nothing's wrong (It's hilarious to see her try to scratch herself with it).
But thanks for the link!! My goodness there IS some tasty stuff to be found! I mostly bump around DA, so it's nice to see some unfamiliar art! Mmmm....Orochimaru....not that he's the ONLY piece of ass in Naruto, but he's certainly the palest! But I would love to see other stuff. I get such inspiration from looking at art. That's the main reason I joined DA, was so I could have a place to save pictures without taking up space on my computer. Hah...lazy me. I'm usually on MSN pretty late at night (I didn't bother to get AIM, so no worries!). I'll get around to adding you sometime tonight...or maybe tomorrow. My puppy got spayed and isn't doing so well, so it may take me a day or two to get on MSN.

Yes yes Orochi is only one of the few hotties, recently I am all into Kimimaro. hes such a sweet character, its areal shame Kishimoto killed him off. They tell you this nasty past, get you all into him...and even in the end he dies unhappy and unfairly. *casterates kishimoto* Personally I love the sound, all of the characters are my fav, and I am including Anko in that group lol. Cept for Kin, I hate her....she needs to get off the helium.
I have ALOT of naruto pics....like 2000 or so....so yeah links too I could send you if you need inspiration. Thats how I usually get it, its like a mixture of "I must get better!" and "my gawd...that looks cool, I wanna try something like that" lol.

Hahaha. Mmmmm....2000 pictures of goodness. I had a ton of random art at one point, but when my trusty computer got a virus, poof! ALL GONE. Hehehe. Just seeing the product of someone else's muse really kicks mine into gear. Music is my number one inpiration, other people's stuff is a close second. Maybe one day I'll try my hand at it, but with 15 stories of my own, it's a little crowded in my head to try to cram in someone else's characters. Hahaha. I have absolutely no idea who they are but you did them astoundingly well. It's just about to the point where the only improvement you have left to do... and the only place you have left to go, is to remove the hard lines of the sketch altogether and start making "living paintings"....
