Xemi would be standing a few feet from a mat messing with what looked to be a very old camera. Behind him on the mat would be a cluster of youths in various age groups. All being organized by the nervous , new mother Ke. Small whines and complaints could be heard. Her soft voice being heard through the commotion every so often until finally Xem turned upon hearing his name. He smiled softly and walked over.”Kids, kids, what's with all the noise?” He smiled. His excitement showed clearly at the current event.
A young, red headed male would glare over at him. A daring act he dared to do.”FATHER,” he'd say mockingly.”Is this seriously necessary??” He growled softly as Ke would shyly place a dark haired baby upon his back, slightly gagging at him latching onto his neck. Ke would help him to move his flowing, red hair to go over his shoulder.
“It is.” He smiled and patted the boys head. He rolled his eyes.
“So sorry Ranzo..”Ke would smile apologetically at him. In an instant the emeralds would soften as he looked down at the forest elf that had recently taken the place of being his mother.
“It's fine Ke.”He smiled. He then sighed, wincing slightly at a small hair tug.
“Roy.” Ke frowned slightly, helping the infant to release the boys hair.
“I almost forgot what its like to be a big brother.”He gave a soft smile and reached back, allowing Roy to take his finger in a squeeze. “I got it from here Ke.” He assured her. She nodded and moved on to the others. Making sure the stair case for Ichimaru and Saya where steady enough to hold them still. Ichimaru had thought ahead, using Roy to hoist himself above him, now managing to be stepping within the bend of Ranzos' arm, giving him a taller appearance from Roy. She was startled, seeing a semi-distressed look on Ranzos face. He merely shook his head, assuring her it was OK. She gave a weak smile and looked to Saya who was using Kirto as a support to lean over, allowing her to give an adorable peace sign.
“I'm ready to go!” She smiled down at her mother. Ke smiled back.
“Please just be careful dear.”She patted her head. The long haired blonde nodded.”of course.” She stepped back to look down at Xavier who would sigh, his sister talking his ear off excitedly. She knelt to their height with a smile.”Xav, you OK?” His heterochromed orbs would look to her. A small flush across his tanned cheeks.
“Taking pictures is weird..” He stuffed his hands in his pockets. Celeste would smile up ato her big brother.
“Xavi is being shy Mama.” She looked up to her mother. A spitting image she was.”Just like Ranzo.”
“Hey!” Ranzo beamed down at her. He was cut off by Salem who walked over, taking a spot by his feet beside Celeste.
“Ranzo has always been a shy one.” He smiled pleasantly.”Even when we were kids. Still is a big baby about most things.” He teased lightly. To this, Ranzos' cheeks flared to cherry red at his twins words.
“Mother,” Salem directed his eyes to Ke who looked at him with a flushed surprised.
“..Yes Salem?” She gazed at the sky blue haired male.
His smile grew wider at the recognition of his call to her.”Will you and father be in the picture?” He tilted his head curiously at her. She squeaked lightly, raising an unsure hand to her lips, head turning to an approaching Xem. The tall elf male would kneel, helping her up. His soft, velvet voice flowing out.
“Not this one Salem.” He smiled down at the sitting hybrid.”The next one for sure.” He assured him.”I wanted one of you kids only first. And then perhaps one of Ke and I.” He bent his neck, placing a soft , quick kiss to her horn. To this, they received a serious of 'ews' from the younger boys and 'aw's from the two girls. He chuckled, Ke blushed. He turned, leading her behind the camera.
“You know we don't live in old ass time DAD.” Again Ranzo mocked.”Nor do we live in a human world. Whats with the camera?”
“Poor son.” Xem chuckled.”I want a vintage photo. That's all.”
“Filters.” He said flatly. Again he would be hush by Salem who elbowed him in the leg. He sighed heavily and rolled his eyes.
The two creatures gazed at the group of children. Xem placing a hand on Kes shoulder, pulling her close so that she may see the screen on the camera that awaited the pressing of the button.”So beautiful...”She awed.
“Indeed they are...” He smiled , helping her to guide her thumb to the button. Their thumbs pressing together to create their first family photo.
