I've been making Dexter for over three years now, and he remains one of my favorite characters. Here are just a few color combinations that I particularly liked from past craft fairs and Etsy shop updates.
Dexter's story:
Poor Dexter was born a little oddly proportioned, with big, big ears and wings too tiny for flying. Luckily his friends don't really mind carrying him around.

I thought it was really gracious of you to show your early Dexters... When I read the comment next to the first link, I was thinking he was going to look really awkward - but, the first one is just as cute! I do like the more curved (inner) ear lines, though. The scarves are also really cute, but I guess you have to design the bat a little differently (more neck) to do the scarf. A bat with big wings would be cool too. I think the ears are just the right size, even for a 'normal' bat!
