That is the most amazing piece I have seen in dark art history, it's so emotionally thought provoking and the texture creates that excellent sense of graininess. It looks like it's a canvas piece, it's truly astonishing. Now one of my favourites.

Dark, really dark. And disturbing. These feelings are really more strong with the choice of the tones for the sky i think. Green like that is the meaning in subsconcious for some dead smellings, or waste toxic... but in any case it's a meaning of death and desolation. I think that this what you want to communicate

it reminds me of a certain 'bleak December.' the shingles on the roof are beautiful in their asymmetry, and the atmosphere surrounding the house is quite powerful. i might like the angle of the gate in the fog best, however

I think this is incredible. It's sort of Tim Burton, Edward Goreyish but definitely your style at the same time. How did you make the texture - on a computer or with paints? I think that's what makes this so effective.
