Again, I'm jumping ahead of the story, but how could I possibly resist posting my favorite character's profile ^-^?

Geno
A mysterious star entity, who is the guardian the fabled Star Road, serves the 'higher authority' to grant the wishes of people of the planet. The star had once descended to the Mushroom World and possessed a child's doll in order to communicate and battle his enemies. After meeting Mario, he decided to join him to repair the Star Road and defeat Smithy. While he may be vulnerable in a wooden body, Geno's magical star energies affect the toy's abilities to unleash intense light and beam attacks. Despite the child-like demeanor of the doll's form, Geno is rational, serious, and intelligent.

The events of the Smithy Gang's attacks was somehow affecting many Star Realms as well, so Geno was sent down to investigate. By fate, he reunites with Mario and Mallow just in time to battle a machine monster that had targeted a nearby town in the forests. While he had come back to assist Mario in his pursuit of their enemies, he had another mission, by his superiors, to track down a foreign invader who may perhaps be involved with the Smithy Gang.

I also like this work, especially the background and glowing effects from the stars. The big star to the right is supposed to be Geno in his real form. I put my own touch in his design, mostly in his face and hair, because I think him having a stiff expression would be dull. Geno must be more powerful now, so he may be able to manipulate the doll's form and abilities.
