Biography: May lived in a hidden yokai village in Japan for most of her life. She had an evil father and a twisted older sister named Nuraku growing up. One night, her father killed her mother and in an act of defense and avengment, she killed her father. The two girls were taken in by the villages chief and she became reclusive. May wondered too far from her village and became lost. That’s when she met Hamato Yoshi. They became good friends and she soon started to fall in love with him. She practiced ninjutsu by watching Yoshi and her guardian taught her how to fight. She wasn’t too good but improved over time. She watched Yoshi marry Tang Shen but she accepted it and became the family guardian. She did try to stop Oroku Saki, but May was distracted by her sister. May was left to drown and had a seal placed on her that makes her yokai form her true form. She was ashamed by her performance of protecting the family and ran away to New York. She adopted four girls and trained them in ninjutsu and elemental magic. She met with Yoshi again, now known as Splinter, and assists when needed.
