Description
Satoshi Kurusu 's initial Persona; The "Amateur Cracksman" -- Raffles !
Awakening Message:
Are you just going to stand there? Take the cowardly way out and let him perish? Think back to your desire to help, that boy who met with a terrible fate... Will you let the same thing happen to your friend ? I see... Then allow me to offer my assistance. I am thou, thou art I... Let the loss of your innocence become the foundation of your stance. To commit atrocious deeds to those you deem wicked, and save those in peril from a fate worse than death!
Background:
"A gentleman thief created by E. W. Hornung. A master of disguise and talented thief, he used his wealthy status and occupation as a cricketer to cover up his secret profession of carrying out burglaries to support himself."
How this Persona connects with Satoshi:
- Satoshi Kurusu uses his popularity as a means of diverting suspicions from him of being a phantom thief.
- Raffles had Harry "Bunny" Manders, a former schoolmate, to chronical his adventures. Likewise, Satoshi has Akio Mishima to write about the Phantom Thieves' exploits on his blog.
Trivia:
- In Raffles's awakening message, the line "met with a terrible fate" was inspired by the Game Over quote/line from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
- The idea of giving Raffles a skull for a head was inspired by the character Papyrus from Undertale.
- Raffles's attire was inspired by that of Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
- Raffles's top hat is derived from the Phantom Thieves' logo .
This next gen series belongs to me.
