I tapped away at the keyboard of my laptop with practiced efficiency. The fluorescent lights overhead cast an unflattering glow over my white blouse, making my pale skin appear even whiter, if that were possible. I was intent on completing my report for my boss, and I knew that the sooner I finished it, the sooner I could leave the office for the day. It was already five o'clock, and the sun was beginning to set outside the window, bathing the sky in shades of pink and orange.
