Of course, I wasn't entirely happy with the other design. So I've been trying to redesign him some more.

In both the G1 and Animated versions, he has a sort of "cap" on his head. In G1, it was probably just the style, but in Animated it was on purpose, because when they ended up giving him the German accent, they redesigned him to look ... stereotypical German. I decided that the cap was too cute not to use, and that his previous design was too ... choppy. It looked like I had taken bits of other bots and slapped them together (because I did) And I want to have his design look like it's meant to be the way it is, if not professionally done, at least decently done.

So I decided to make a call-back with not only the cap, but also the rippling pectorals he had in Animated. THOSE ARE NOT BREASTSTS. I DO NOT PUT BREASTSTS ON MY ROBOTS. I want to keep the treads on his shoulders, as well as the thrusters being in his treads. I'm still not happy with the design of his arms, but I'm feeling okay about his legs and pedes, although I understand they still might not match the rest of his design. Durrr

And that silly scribble beside him is supposed to be a sketch of an armoured half-truck. It's based off of a toy truck I bought a few weeks ago, which is only labelled "Armoured Half-Truck, made in China". I'd not even going to bother looking for a real-life example of what it could be. I'm too lazy, and I mean, seriously, if half the cast of Transformers can use made-up vehicles, why can't the other half?
