Okie dokie. So, I had someone step forward and and comment on some of the questions asked about this costume:

"It is a SPANDEX suit that I bought on eBay. I'm sure that I never said it was latex or from a sex shop (I imagine that would be uncomfortable and expensive). The "kitty boy" in the background is my husband (then boyfriend). I made the hat that he's wearing. He still loves it but doesn't really wear it anymore considering he's grown up 5 years."

Now, I had commented that I was told that it was a latex suit bought at a sex shop. That IS what I was told, and I quite distinctly remember being told. I know how hard it is to paint spandex. If it is spandex, then I was misinformed or misheard.

Now, there are also questions as to how the Helmet was made.

That I do not know. I still have no experience in making such a piece, but I am certain there are many different methods.
