He comes from a grassy country land where music is popular. The inhabitants are known to have a wonderful singing voice and the Duchess's son, Vance, has a particularly fine one. He's a bit of a celebrity and he enjoys singing, but he hates his lifestyle. His parents are rich, greedy, and ignorant and use him to gain more wealth. Something I can imagine him saying is, "If someone payed my parents enough money I bet they'd sell me..."

He's stuborn and moody but brave.
