Well, here it is: the first submitted drawing in weeks O_o

spent aboout 6 hours colouring this, and it's still not done! 8D no, seriously, it's not a 100% done. maybe 90 or something.. But I'm just too impatient to finish it XD

This is my very first sketch/drawing/digitally coloured drawing of SEGA's most awesome villain ever! I saw the vids from the game on YouTube, and from the minute I saw this little shapeshifter's first appearance, I completely fell for his evilness XD
(fact: I think he's the first Sonic-char ever to successfully kill someone in the game! *grin* )

also, before I forget it, I'm pretty sure that the name Mephiles comes from Mephistopheles - he who shuns the light! ;D

anyway: as some of you fans can see, I've drawn some things wrong on him. like how he now has a mouth, and how he's not completely crystalized (sp?) But that's because he hasn't finished evolving yet! It's a state between normal Mephiles and ..uh.. super(?) Mephiles.
the mouth was simply to give him a more wicked expression X3
The smoke was darn difficult to do! O_O and yes, it looks crap, I'm aware of that ^_^'

btw: if you click the download button, you get to see the drawing in it's full size (which is huge), and it will not only allow you to see details such as the bloodveins in his eyes or the hair/fur straws in his chest-fur and so on, but you'll also get to see the brush-strokes and "study" how I drew it ^^ 'cos I know someone did that on one of my previous drawings, and said they learned stuff from studying my art. :3
