when spongebob started having the hallucinations of himself as a demonic figure.... he could hear savage's breathing in the back of his head, and when he turned to look in the mirror, he looked fine... until the mirror shattered, and revealed something else grinning evily back at him... he thought he was going insane... when laura entered the room, he turned to look at her, then quickly look back at the mirror, only to see himself, normal, once again... he immediately hugged and kissed his wife, for she was the one person who could comfort him, and assure him he was going to be alright, only if he stays in her arms....Related content

XD does that mean he brain washes himself so he can remain childish, and if he doesnt, he becomes more manly, but he doesnt want people to be scared of his overwhelming manliness so he'd rather keep the illusion that he's a dumb little kid instead of a sophisticated and mature adult, so he doesnt go around thinking about having sex all day and just focus on his work? :0 wow, it makes sense...
