As demonstrated by the adorable Betty here, each soul trait has a scale of five stages, the example being the soul trait Dedication. For simplicity, humans and monsters only seperate the most left and the most right traits as different, namely Tenacity(most left) and Dedication(most right), but some humans have souls in between those two traits.The Betty pictured here is my own version of her, namely that she has Tenacity instead of Fear and is a genuinely nice little girl.
It's basically a percentage scale, but only experts on souls like Alphys or Gaster would use these scales as a way to measure and determine the soul trait exactly.
0%(not pictured) - no soul trait for humans(Traitless Soul), basic white soul for monsters(Soul of Hope)
10%(first soul) - basic form of Tenacity, a trait for both humans and monsters.
25% up to 49%(second soul) - stronger form of Tenacity, a trait only for humans and stronger monsters.
50% up 100%(third to fifth soul) - Dedication, a trait only for humans.

Shad Used Hyper Beam right on Kasha's face sending him crashing agaisn't the roof as he ended up in the upper floors.

"Worth it..." Shad said as he fainted.

The Zeraora glared at the fainted bird pokemon and jumped back down through the hole.

The electric cat crossed his arms. "It's not my fault when he started it and I just so happen to have a lot of temperament."

"Doubt it." The feline replied. Betty held the fuzzy yellow hand of the cat Pokemon. "Don't scare me like that ever again!" The girl exclaimed as she hugged him.

Alakazam gave an Reviver Seed to Shad as he woke up revitalized again.

"I see... Flowey couldn't give an answer to it, even if he spent some time around... Uh... Giratina I think was the pokemon's name. He just said that these Ghost and Shadow Pokemon suddenly appeared." Betty explained.

Upon mentioning his Childs Lopunny's jaw dropped and Alakazam opened his eyes widely.

Betty giggled upon seeing their reactions. "Where I come from, I'm his foster daughter!"

"Say What----!?" Shad the Pidgeot was the one surprised this time.

Horror Shad was sitting calmly unsettling Tyranitar, Medicham, Charizard and Gardevoir.
"Mine is a Toriel who wants to see me happy at all costs and drugs me whenever she gets the chance"

"I think this is almost normal for you." Betty said, answering the question.

"Hehehe...heheheheheh !!" HT. Shad laughed because Betty wasn't far fetched with her answer then just nodded silently.

The girl hid behind her electric guardian. "Stop scaring the child, man." Kasha mewled in annoyance.

"Yes.. Of course..." Betty pouted as her hair was completely pink and faintly glowed. Carefully, Kasha took a strand of the pink glowing hair in his paw. "That is so weird..." Betty looked at her guardian. "Try to attack me with some sort of projectile." The girl asked.

Both Shad just said "What !?" In Unison as they began glaring at each other.

Betty's eyes glowed in the same way as her hair. "Do it!" She challenged them.

She grumbled to herself. "Guess I'll have to make you, then." She quickly stepped on the Pidgeot's tail and ran away, forcing him to use a ranged attack.

Pidgeot Shad just reacted in pain but canceled his attack deciding that Betty wasn't going to get the better of him.

Kasha, who had gotten curious, launched a thunderbolt attack at the human child. Betty quickly raised her hand into the air, as the thunderbolt stopped right before her. It turned from yellow to pink and formed into a electric sphere in the girl's raised hand. She threw it back at the Thunderclap Pokemon who quickly absorbed it due to it's Volt Absorb ability. "What was that?!" The feline meowed in surprise. Betty walked back to them. "That was my special ability called Rhabdophobia." She explained, "But I can only use it if my hair is fully pink. If I'm really scared."

"So using Magical Attacks agaisn't you would be a Waste and should go full Physical mode, I won't forget that" Shad said looking for something on his bag

Betty held her hands behind her back and smiled as her hair turned back to normal. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you with it!"

"I have a Trick under my Sleeve, "Mutation" Shad added as he pulled out a Dread Plate and it seemed to melt into his hand".

Shad's feathers began turning black as his Power began turning into that of a darkness being, a black tornado surrounded him which morphed Shad instantly as he came out as a Honchkrow.
