As demonstrated by the adorable Betty here, each soul trait has a scale of five stages, the example being the soul trait Dedication. For simplicity, humans and monsters only seperate the most left and the most right traits as different, namely Tenacity(most left) and Dedication(most right), but some humans have souls in between those two traits.The Betty pictured here is my own version of her, namely that she has Tenacity instead of Fear and is a genuinely nice little girl.
It's basically a percentage scale, but only experts on souls like Alphys or Gaster would use these scales as a way to measure and determine the soul trait exactly.
0%(not pictured) - no soul trait for humans(Traitless Soul), basic white soul for monsters(Soul of Hope)
10%(first soul) - basic form of Tenacity, a trait for both humans and monsters.
25% up to 49%(second soul) - stronger form of Tenacity, a trait only for humans and stronger monsters.
50% up 100%(third to fifth soul) - Dedication, a trait only for humans.

If he does that extremely frequently, then yes. But Shad wouldn't have to worry about her safety, since Betty mostly sticks to Asier, who is, quite literally, a guardian angel.

(Shad doesn't do that Extremely Frequently, He ain't no a Copter Parent, If you're thinking about TT. Shad he said He Taught Betty everything he knew which Regarded how to make the better use of a Pokemon and make them be at their Highest Potential, Evolution, Strategies, Breeding Chains, Etc... And he commented about being sad of not seeing how would she fare on the Ebott region).

(But what about Shad frequently saying that he has eyes and ears everywhere? Sounds a lot like monitoring and spying to me. If it's meant metaphorically, then I understand it much better. But Shad is NOT someone for metaphors, that much I know. So it's safe to say he meant it literally, by having cameras and microphones hidden everywhere. Also, Betty in TrainerTale, while having all that knowledge, is likely going to discard all of it and start her adventure blind to gain her own experiences and make her own thing.)

You know it's a Waste to discard all that Knowledge, also Shad isn't going to teach her everything as if Everything, he would had given examples on how the things on a basic level, for Example on Evolution he would had shown her the Three Most Basic Ways which is Leveling, Using a Stone and Trading, Type Advantage is very Simple with the Grass, Water and Fire types, also for Strategy he would teach her to NOT rely only on brute force.

It would best if Betty could gain all of this knowledge, by herself. Either through Trial and Error or through the Trainer School. Those exist for a reason.

(Yes, Hence why I scrapped that, also why does he bother if Betty is going to ignore all that ?, now that's just teaching Shad to not bother in helping others since they're not even grateful for his help).

Would you play a game where you already know everything about and have fun with it or would you rather play a game you haven't play before and go in completely blind and have fun that way, slowly learning everything yourself? Also, now Shad would be acting like an offended little child if Betty wants to start her own adventure and gain her own knowledge and not act upon what Shad taught her.
