think i've come to a good usability layout...since you tend to keep the mouse closer to you and it's simpler to go down and in with your hand than out and up, it makes sense for the most used itesm to be in the lower left of the screen...

still trying to figure out a good way to finish up an msn5 msstyle...so far it's coming together, but, i don't know...i remember why i stopped releasing in the first place, and none of those reasons have gone away; in fact, they've gotten worse... so this'll just end up something to piddle around with...or i'll just get a block and stop it where it is, like how it seems to be at the moment...
