Description

I made a short comic based on an autocorrect typo. It was fun coming up with these characters, I hope you enjoy this little bit of sillyness!

ORC QUEEN

Ruvniek is half orc half dwarf with a dwarven mother and orc father. She never knew her father and her mother was an adventurous outgoing dwarf who became a mother when she was young. She raised Ruvniek by herself and was somewhat slighted by the other dwarves for having a half orc daughter.

She grew up with just her and her mother and not having much between them. As she got older she decided she wasn’t ashamed of her orc heritage and wanted to learn more about orcish culture. Ruvniek ended up joining up with other young orcs, making friends and more importantly, followers. She was strong and brave and clever and developed a liking for battles, especially when there was loot to win. She became stronger and stronger and eventually challenged the current orc ruler. Orcs decide their monarchy though battle, the strongest orc rules. So she won her way to the top and despite being a half-orc dwarven girl, she became the new orc queen. She had many admirers and she demanded respect from those who didn’t like her.

Ruvniek had a love of treasure and anything shiny, she would raid the old caverns looking for ancient treasures and crusty old skeletons that guarded them, usually some remnants of old and lost necromancy magic, keeping the old bones alive to guard centuries old trinkets, that were so ancient nobody knew who they used to belong to anymore.

Under her leadership the orcs thrived and she became known for her riches and battle prowess. Even the dwarves who first shunned her gained respect for her accomplishments, however she was happy as her knew identity as the orc queen and had no desire to go back to her dwarvish home.

PIXIE QUEEN

Jonquille was born into royalty, her parents the king and queen of the pixies living in the eastern woods. She grew up with everything she needed and had many tutors, teaching her the many skills needed to become ruler one day. She had a extensive education and although she did enjoy learning, being a curious and inquisitive youth, she had a rebellious side and often snuck out of lessons to escape to the trees and the outdoors, adventuring on her own and getting into mischief. As Jonquille grew older, she continued to have her wild rebellious side and although a capable leader and responsible ruler, she could be unpredictable, rash and unorthodox in her methods. She was however very much loved by her people. She was a skilled swordswoman, cunning and fair.

WOOD NYMPH QUEEN

Wood nymphs are a more recluse race and are less involved in the politics of other races, with most wood nymphs never leaving their forest homes and rarely mixing with others. Kyrenise came into power after the last monarchy died and them being the closest living relative to take their place. Their race lives for a very long time and live slow lives, taking great care of their forest homeland and the trees and plants they live symbiotically with. After a tragic event, a forest fire in their sacred home, they were barely able to recover and lost many lives.

BACKSTORY

This is when Jonquille intervened and offered her kingdom's aid to help the wood nymphs restore their lives. During this time they formed a close allyship between the kingdoms. It was decided that the two queens should marry and unite their kingdoms, strengthening and growing their forest homelands and bringing their peoples together. The pixies offering protection and clever problem solving and were quick to action to start to restore the damaged woodlands and the nymphs bringing their understanding and connection to all the the plant life, to make them grow strong again and creating safe and beautiful homes for everyone in their kingdoms. The two queens making a complimentary duo, pixie queen being daring, strong and decisive, quick minded and short tempered. The wood nymph queen being wise, thoughtful and empathetic, a perfectionist and a healer.

Together their united kingdoms grew stronger and happier, the woodlands that once burned were starting to regrow, slowly, with the homeless nymphs sheltering in the pixie peoples forest lands. The nymphs carrying many living plants on their bodies, nurturing them and helping them grow as the pixies worked the land back to good health.

Although Queen Jonquille was strong and a formidable swordswoman, she did not have strength in numbers and more than once was under threat from greedy pursuers and enemies, wanting to overtake their forest kingdom and destroy the forest for land.

They came to knowQueen Ruvniek and were impressed with her ability to adapt and her strength. She was charismatic and capable and soon the pixie and wood nymph kingdoms decided to propose a marriage between the three queens!
