You heard of Pokemon variations, now get ready for Trainer variations!Indigo is an oc based off of my trainer in XY, but I've always named my protag some variation of purple or violet and considering I haven't seen
pokemon trainer versions of different region/type variations I went ahead and did it with my baby.
her outfits are based off of the female protagonists in the games, since character customization wasn't a thing before Kalos and I didn't just want to have her
wear the exact same clothes as the female protags. She has a shiny charm because her backstory is rooted more in the games than the anime although they both merge at some points and she has shinies on her team.
I know a lot of people hate it when OCs have shinies but fuck that noise lol, if you can have shinies in a game what makes you think an OC wouldn't have the same chances. One of her things is being sort of a shiny magnet, which is just based on how I play the game and surprisingly my luck with shinies is pretty decent.
