Yes, no virus. I think deviantArt takes care of the hosted files to contain no viruses.

Oh. I don't know how to convert these cursor files. Maybe you have to edit them with a software like Axalis Icon Workshop, Real World Cursor Editor or AniFx. These applications should do the conversion of those files.
