my dad got a little freaked out from his car crash and thinks we should spend some time with his family (a long time). plus his mom is really old and sick so he wants to spend her last days with her.

yeah. plus gradma is on her deathbed and it would be good that were would be with her. now instead of being an entire country away, she is literally a block away.
