Here in south central Kansas we've had a cooler than normal summer (to date) with more of the same starting this Thursday. I feel sorry for the people and creatures suffering through the heat wave(s) covering much of the western third of our nation. Nature's ac works, up to a point. If it were really hot, it would have it's mouth open as well.At least this bird wasn't perched on a damned wire.
