Quick reference sheet for the race : Fey
From the RP Group:

All Fey are born as what we commonly know as elves. They are elemental creatures that bond with some force or animal in nature. As they grow they take on the traits of the spirit that they bond with. Once matured they evolve into a new Fey. (i.e. tree elf evolves into a dryad or goat elf becomes a satyr.)

Background: Young elves are very friendly while older fey tend to be more reclusive. But all fey love mischieft and will do anything they think with produce a laugh. Do not harm nature in their presence or you will find yourself in the realm of the dead.
